Social Security Disability: What have you done lately? What have you done lately to improve your chances of winning your Social Security disability or SSI claim. Did you call your
lawyer to see if he or she needed your help getting any of your records? Did you bring an RFC form to your treating doctor
to have him or her fill it out for you? Did you appeal that denial you got? Did you call that lawyer you are thinking of hiring?
Consider this post a simple reminder to stay active in your Social Security disability or SSI claim. It is my experience that
those who stay involved in their claim have a much better chance of winning. There is no person who has more at stake or cares
more about your claim than you. Even if you have a lawyer, you must still learn about Social Security disability and be willing
to help your lawyer get all the information that is needed to win your claim. If you don't have a lawyer, then you must learn
even more about SSDI and SSI and what you should be doing to improve your chances of winning. So, if you are reading this
blog post take a few minutes to think about your claim and what you still need to do. If you cannot think of anything, then
try researching about your particular claim and see if there is anything you could be doing to improve your claim for benefits.
The most important things to consider are, whether or not you have all the medical records that are relevant to your SSD claim
sent to your file. Do you have opinion evidence from all of your treating doctors in the form of an RFC or report? Do you
understand what you have to prove for your particular case to win? I hope if nothing else, this post made you stop and think
of a few things you could be doing right now that would improve your case and give you the best shot to win your SSDI or SSI
claim. I wish you luck and hope you are approved for benefits quickly.
